When your custom phone number is approved, people can text it to join your list. They are automatically added to a text list and appear in the contact group Opted-In by Text.

How people opt in

Recipients can join by texting any of these keywords to your custom number:
  • JOIN
  • START
  • YES
  • SUBSCRIBE
  • UNSTOP

Reaching your opted-in contacts

When you create a text campaign, select the Opted-In by Text contact group to send messages to everyone who has texted in.

Setting up a phone number

If you need to set up or manage a custom phone number, go to Settings and open the Subscription tab.
